This league is a not for profit organization that has been developed for the betterment and enjoyment of boys and girls lacrosse in Central NY. The Simmons Lacrosse League was founded in 2002 and is considered the premier high school summer lacrosse league in the United States.

The late Roy Simmons Sr., his son Roy Simmons Jr., and grandson Roy Simmons III, have given and continue to give much of their lives as coaches and ambassadors of the game of lacrosse. Central NY lacrosse and the Simmons name will be forever linked. This league is a tribute to the family who was a big part of it all.
